Virginia's shared branching CUSO, the Credit Union Service Company of Virginia, opened a new Service Center on Aug. 1. The new branch is located at 5957 East Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, in the Military Crossing Shopping Center.
"This is our fourth branch covering Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth and Norfolk, enabling us to provide greater convenience for our credit unions and their members-owners," said Terry Childress, senior vice president of the CUSO.
This branch marks the CUSO’s ninth branch statewide. CUSCVA's current branches perform 200,000 to 230,000 monetary transactions per month and another 90,000 to 100,000 at their ATMs, ranking them among the busiest shared branches in the nation.
